When you are Ranked in the top 10 you have a target on your back. Ball State was after the win, and they got one. The Cards set out to win a championship, not have the most wins.
It is inspiring to watch men with such passion for the game reach for a common objective. THE CARDS WANT THE BRASS RING. That is more powerful than one game.
Bye the way...one of Ball States pitchers has a SICK NASTY curve ball.

The Cards head to Ole Miss with a target on their back. Undefeated through 12, after their 9-7 come from behind win against Indiana University.
Coach Mac advises fans and team that they are walking into hostile territory. Ole Miss. packs the ballpark with 8-10 thousand at most home games and they will have no mercy.
However, he and Sean Moth, our announcer, both agree the Cards are playing with confidence. Several veteran players have taken leadership roles on the field and in the dugout. Coach Mac says this team can play with anyone.
